| Additional Information Riveting tool for brake linings, removes old rivets, drills and countersinks lining and swedges new rivets. This tool is for the tubular style rivets that were used in 1926-27 and on TT trucks and will not work with the earlier split rivets.
Includes a punch to remove old rivets, tool to swedge new rivets in place, tool to drill and countersink linings.
Note: This set does not include the bench vise mount anvil to hold the rivets and lining in place while installing. The complete set is part# 2566RVTL.
Tech Tip: When installing brake linings begin riveting with the two center holes and work toward the outer ends. The lining should be clamped tight to the shoe.
