Side light brackets, Laser cut, Made to Ford specifications from original drawings. Excellent Reproduction.
Unlike the typical reproduction dash lamp brackets offered for 1914, ours are made from the correct thickness steel, have the correct square carriage bolt mounting holes, and feature the "lamp ledge" end without the offset bend. This "lamp ledge" was the unique feature of the 1914 dash lamp bracket. (Typical repro brackets are made from 3/16" steel (too thin) rather than the correct 7/32 thick steel, have the mounting holes round that don't accept the correct mountin bolts, and use the lamp mount offset BEND rather than the LEDGE.)
Since 7/32" steel is not available today commercially, we have our steel custom Blanchard ground to the correct 7/32" thickness. After forming we also black gloss powder coat the brackets with a hard finish ready for installation. Every radius and detail is exactly to original Ford drawings.
