Additional Information

The Model N was introduced in 1906. Built to compete directly against the curved dash Oldsmobile, Ford produced some 7,000 in 1906 and ended the year as the nation's leading auto producer. As the Model N evolved into the Model R and Model S, the radiator evolved as well. Some Model N, R and S Fords used the more conventional brass radiator with seamed tubes on 1" centers, and some used a core constructed of both spiral fins on copper tubes part# 3926NRS-SF

This original style radiator has a core that has DRAWN ROUND TUBES made of copper for more efficient heat transfer than the original seamed brass round tubes. They look original.

Features of the this Round Tube radiator for Model N, Model R, and Model S:

  • Officially licensed earlier Ford "winged" script on top tank.
  • Three part top tank
  • Water pump in the core
  • 1/4" round copper tubes for quicker heat transfer
  • Tellurium copper fins with 6 fins per vertical inch
  • Includes 10% Ford licensing fee

NOTE: This radiator is made to order.  Please call our Customer Service Line for the current lead time.

Questions and Answers
Which radiator is better, flat or round tube.

The flat tube radiator offers more cooling surface and more cooling performance for the model t. The round is made like the original and we recommend them for show cars.
