Running board bolt set. Original style head, For REPRODUCTION running boards ONLY.

This bolt set is used to mount the running boards to the support brackets and fenders. It is for use with REPRODUCTION running boards ONLY. The bolts are duplicates of original bolts that have unusual heads and are made to original Ford drawings. Also includes the correct shape square nuts. (NOTE: Originally these bolts where peened over at the bottom of the bolt and did not use lock washers.)

NOTE: CHECK THE RUNNING BOARD BOLT HOLE SIZES BEFORE ORDERING! Sets are available for both original and reproduction running boards. To determine the difference between these measure the bolt holes:

• Original running boards have 1/4” holes for the running board to fenders bolts and 5/16” for the running board to support bracket.
• Reproduction boards use the same size 5/16" hole throughout.
• 1909-20 bolt sets are for use on cars that use an 8 piece block set, part# 4822E that includes blocks for the running boards to fender bolts. NOTE: Use the later set if your 1917-1920 car uses only 4 wood blocks. (1909-20 cars have forged cast running board brackets)
• 1921-1925 bolts sets are for use on cars that use a 4 piece block set, part# 4822. (1921-25 cars have stamped steel running board brackets)
