Questions and Answers
Is this starter for 6 Volt or 12 Volt?
This starter is set up for the 6 volt, it can work for the 12 volt it just spins at a higher speed then it should. you can knock the voltage to it by running 12 volt battery cables to it that will slow it down some, making it so it is not so harsh on the bendix

What is the difference between thw two rebuilt starters 5099R and 5099RB?
5099R is rebuilt with re wraped fields and the armature is just turned and checked on a growler. The 5099RB has all new fields and the re wraped armature.

When wiring a starter for 12 volts, is it still positive ground?
All Model T's came from the factory negative ground. Then Ford made it confusing and wired the Model A's positive ground. The Model T can still work though as a positive ground, you only get into trouble with the new voltage regulators and horns.
