Striker, door latch, open cars 1917-25
Well, these 1917-1925 striker plates can be "made" to work. These plates have four mounting holes and the 1926-1927 plates have only two mounting holes. The catch and the size and shape of the striker plates is the same, If you were to weld closed the four holes and then drill new holes, you could use them. No one is reproducing the striker plate for the Improved car, yet. I hope this helps.
